MÓNICA MARKWALD is a sociologist and has a post-graduate degree in Social Psychology in the Escuela de Psicología Social Dr. Enrique Pichón Rivière where has also attended several seminars on Organizational Culture. She assisted to Mediation Introduction and Training course of Fundación Libra.
She started to work in Marketing Research in 1976 at IPSA Argentina, and since 1983 until 1988 she was Manager of the Ad-Hoc Studies Division. In 1988 she was asked to become the Special Projects Manager, title and position she maintained in the new company formed after the merge of IPSA Argentina with A.C. Nielsen Argentina, until her resignation on December 1996.
She participated as lecturer in some Latin-American forums of her field. She is a founding member of SAIMO (Argentine Society of Marketing and Public Opinion Researchers). Author (with Jorge García González and Jorge Lipetz) of the paper "How to improve quality in multicountry Research: the Latin America experience", presented in the ESOMAR annual Congress. In Berlin 1998 it received the John Samuel’s Award for the best work presented.

MÓNICA VILGRÉ LA MADRID is a Sociologist graduated with Honors in the Universidad Católica Argentina and has a Master on Political Science specialized in Survey Research in the University of Connecticut, USA, with exams approved with distinction. She started to work in Marketing Research in 1981 at IPSA Argentina, being promoted to Ad-Hoc Studies Manager in 1988, position that she maintained in the new company IPSA-NIELSEN Argentina until her resignation in December 1996. She was a Research Assistant in the School of Psychiatry of Yale University (1979 -1981) and the Roper Center for Public Opinion (1984-1985). In 1986-1987 she was adviser on Public Opinion to the Undersecretary of Culture of the Argentinean Government. She was a member of the Socio-Economic Level Measurement Committee of the Argentine Marketing Association and a founding member of SAIMO (Argentine Society of Marketing and Public Opinion Researchers).
