Kiddo's, Latin American Kids Study is a single source children's multimedia study conducted in the Latin American key markets: Argentina, Brazil, México, Colombia and Chile. It is conducted by Markwald, La Madrid y Asociados, TNS Gallup (Mexico) and Multifocus (Brazil).



The study is conducted among
6 to 11 year old children, covering their main issues:

. Their everyday life
. Family
. School
. Their lifestyles
. Their consumption habits
. What they spend their money on
. Their opinion and future expectations

Analyzed according to their exposure to the media.

. Broadcast TV
. Cable TV
. Comic Books
. Children's Magazines
. General Interest Magazines
. Radio
. Cinema
. Internet


The first wave was carried out in November 2000. The second wave in November 2001. The third wave in January-March 2003. The study is based on personal interviews with a probabilistic sample composed of more than 7.000 children, residing in the main cities and can be projected to a total of 5,573,702 children. In places with a paid television penetration lower than 50% a booster sample was made in order to expand these segments' bases.

The lowest socioeconomic levels in each country were excluded.

The study is provided with in a IMS format, softyware that can be included if required.
